  • First of all Shut down all apps that require the internet
  • Now go to System Preferences
  • Click on the Network option then Wifi
  • Here click on Location and edit the location
  • Click on the + sign to add a new location, type in any preferred name, then click on the Done button
  • Join the wifi network and type your password
  • Go to Advanced Settings > TCP/IP
  • Click Renew DHCP Lease and choose Apply when prompted

Reset your Macbook’s PRAM/NVRAM

  • Shut down your Macbook and turn it on again
