  • let’s open Microsoft edge from start menu search type “Edge

Run DISM and SFC utility

Also, run dism restorehealth command with system file checker utility this helps to fix if any system file corruption causing the issue.

  • Search for cmd from start menu search,
  • Right click on command prompt select run as administrator,
  • type DISM restore health command, DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  • Net run sfc /scannow command, this will scan and restore missing system files.
  • Restart windows after complete the scanning process and check windows apps missing problem resolved.
