  • To do this Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages. 

Note: Replace YourUserName with your own username.

  • Now, Find the folder named Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe.
  • Right-click on it and Delete this folder.
  • This folder may still remain in that location.
  • But make sure, This folder is empty.
  • Now, on Start Menu search type PowerShell and form search results,
  • right-click on Powershell select run as administrator.
  • Then Paste the command below and hit the enter key to execute the command.

Repair Corrupted System Files

As discussed before sometimes corrupted system files cause different problems. We recommend to Run SFC utility which scans and restores missing system files.
